Industrial Drives — Pumps, Mixers, Compressors, Crushers
Application-specific crankshaft damping for industrial pumps, mixers, reciprocating compressors and crushers based on full torsional system calculation.
Application-Specific Damping | Rubber / Silicone-oil / Composite
The Pain Point
Industrial driven equipment creates some of the most punishing torsional environments. Reciprocating compressors are the classic torsional excitation source — gas pressure pulses transmit directly back into the crankshaft every revolution. Concrete mixers impose massive drum inertia with frequent start-stop cycles, creating extreme low-speed torque spikes. Fluid pumps (reciprocating/screw) excite low-order torsional modes through periodic load reversal. Stone crushers transmit impact loads back through the driveline as instantaneous reverse-torque spikes. The engine manufacturer’s standard damper is often not sized for the driven equipment’s specific excitation profile.
Auramaia Solution
We engineer application-specific dampers for each industrial duty. Selection is based on full torsional system calculation — not guesswork. Rubber-core units serve cost-effective pump duty; silicone-oil dampers handle high-inertia start-stop mixers; steel-spring composite dampers deliver class-leading tuned damping for continuous compressor excitation and crusher impact shock.
Customer Value
- Reciprocating compressor: eliminates barred speed range, protects both engine and compressor from fatigue
- Concrete mixer: survives thousands of start-stop cycles without damper degradation
- Fluid pump: smooths torque reversal, extending coupling and seal life
- Stone crusher: absorbs impact shock before it reaches the crankshaft
- Complete torsional analysis report included — insurance against resonance damage
